  • What is the cost of a transmission check-up?

Eagle Transmission offers free diagnostics and road tests for everyone!

  • How long does a transmission diagnostic take?

Since we thoroughly assess your vehicle condition, a diagnostic usually ranges from 2 to 4 hours. Rest assured that everything will be tested to ensure that we can provide you with a comprehensive suggestion regarding the proper repair services that your transmission will need.

  • What is being done when my transmission is checked and scanned?

During a transmission diagnostic, your vehicle will be connected to our system to thoroughly clarify the cause of the problem. Additionally, a physical check-up will also be done by our transmission experts to come up with a conclusive report regarding your vehicle's repair needs. Diagnostics can be performed even if you think your vehicle is perfectly fine.

  • What is the cost for transmission fluid & filter change?

There is no "one size fits all when it comes to transmission fluid & filter changes. At Eagle Transmission, a fluid & filter change may be as low as $89.95 depending on the year /make/model of your vehicle. Many of today's high-tech transmissions require special blends of fluids, some of which are manufacture specific. Synthetic transmission fluids are becoming more of the norm in many transmission applications. Many front-wheel drive vehicles require additional labor to access the filter as well. We provide our customers with transmission service that is specific to their vehicle, therefore, there may be considerable variation in the actual cost for a transmission fluid & filter service.

  • What is the average cost of repairing a transmission?

There is no average cost to repair a transmission. Often there is a misconception between repairing a transmission and rebuilding a transmission. A typical transmission rebuild involves:

    • Replacing or rebuilding the valve body Replacing the solenoid packs as needed
